Welcome to Durham Leisure Campground and thank you for choosing us as your home away from home while visiting beautiful Maine. We offer daily, weekly, and monthly stays during our regular camping season, April to September. However, we do have limited sites available on a monthly basis ONLY in the “off season” October to March. Please read all our rules and regulations prior to filling out the form below. Extended Stay Rules

You cannot Live at the RV park. We are available to be, at most, a temporary living arrangement for certain people. Never a permanent living residence option for anyone. The most common acceptable examples we see of this are: couples seeking interim housing between building their new home, travel nurses, out-of-state workers, traveling professionals and of course typical full time RVers seeking a quiet and relaxing spot for their period of time.

If we begin to suspect that you are using our park as your permanent living residence and not your temporary one, we will cancel your reservation, and you will be asked to leave the RV park immediately. No refunds will be given, nor will the rate be prorated.

We require a copy of each guest’s government issued photo ID and/or driver’s license before arrival.

Winter season – vehicle must be adequate for winter; required to shovel your site; no bath house access; two adult maximum.

You can receive packages using our physical address. All mail must be from a mail forwarding service only.

No deliveries of food to sites – can be delivered to the office.

Guests are not allowed to attend local area brick and mortar schools (K-12). Home schooling and cyber schooling are permitted.

No outside propane tanks are permitted. No storage boxes, sheds etc. You are responsible for keeping your lot clean of trash and debris.

You are responsible for keeping your RV in functional operation. No visible signs of neglect i.e. broken windows, flat tires, broken awnings, etc.

All RV’s and vehicles on the property must have current state inspection (if applicable), state registration, and insurance. State license plates must be visible on each unit. Proof of these documents may be requested.

Maximum age for RV is 10 years.

All monthly sites include (1) RV and (2) Vehicles. Any additional vehicles, such as trailers, motorcycles, or boats will be subject to additional charges.

All RV’s which are not motorhomes must be towed in by the reservation’s primary occupant. Units cannot be towed in by a third-party commercial towing service.

All new monthly reservations must complete our Monthly Site Application.

All monthly sites are billed month to month plus metered electric. The monthly rate is based on a 2-month minimum.

Speed Limit is 5 MPH throughout the entire park.

We are a pet friendly park; however, they are not to be left unattended. Pets must be leashed at all times. You must clean up after your pet immediately.

We allow pet fences on site; however, they must be in the stones with a minimum of 4” from the edge of the grass for mowing purposes.

There is absolutely no vehicle washing. RV’s may be washed monthly with prior approval from the office.

Fire rings are provided upon request. Please keep fire rings in the stones on your site. Satellite and internet antennas must be kept in the stones on your site.

NO FIREWORKS.

Firearms are not allowed on the property.

Additional items not allowed: Power tools, beer kegs or balls, clotheslines on trees, carpets/mats on the grass.

We are on a septic system so do not flush anything other than waste and toilet paper. If the pipe clogs a fee of $175.00 will be charged for an emergency plumber.

Children are the responsibility of their guardians and must be supervised at all times.

Unsupervised children are not permitted anywhere in the park, including the store, bathhouses, rec hall and playground.

All guests MUST register with the office and are the sole responsibility of the registered person. Fees may be required.

No excessive noise between the hours of 10PM and 8AM (please be respectful).

NO PARKING on the grass, if you cannot fit the 1 RV and 2 vehicles they will need to be moved to the over flow lot.

NO illegal activity.
